Potter at Wallerville, Miss. Her father and mother dying, she came to Texas and lived with her brother, Mr. Joe Green. She was married to A. L. Orr Nov. 1st. 1883. She proved to be to him a true companion, a devoted wife and a loving mother. She leaves a husband ad three bright children with a host of friends to mourn her loss. She had been a member of the Ferris' Baptist church for eighteen years always true to the church in all her work. Her pastor felt that in her he had a true helper. In the Ladies Aid Society she was amohg the first in attendance when her health would permit.
