Brown), is doing ail that is necessary to stamp out tho disease. During the last five years 758 cases havo occurred throughout the States, the mortality being 112 per million of tho population ; tho rate was 28 per cent higher among males than among females. There has not been a biuijle c:\ao reported to tho Victorian Board of Health previous to 1913.
