Obituary. MR. JONATHAN BROGICER. We regret to have to chronicle the death of Mr, Jonathan Brooker, of Box Vale, which sad event took place on Sun day afternoon" last, at the. Berrima District Hospital, where he had been an inmate for some three weeks, suffering from an affection of the throat. About the 22nd May the deceased complained of a sore throat, but as this was not consid ered serious, no notice was taken of it; but as the throat was very much swollen on the following morning. Dr. Vallack, of Bowral, 'was sent for, who treated the patient for a couple of days, then, as there was uo.improvement, ordered his removal to the hospital. For some tin^e Mr. Brooker's condition was regarded as seri ous, and it was thought that a tube would have to be inserted to prevent suffocation, which, however, was averted through the swelling going down. After this the patient was considered to.be slowly pro gressing, when complications set in on Saturday night, and terminated'fatally be tween 4...
