Phil May. A little story is just now going the rounds about Phil May which is worth repeating. Tho incident occurrad at the Savoy Hotel some time ago, on the birthday of Madams Amy Sherwin, in whose honor a supper party was being (mid, and on wIiojo menu card Mr. M«y made an exquisite little drawing as a souventr of the event. There were acquaintances of the Tasmanian singer at the two adjoining tables, and in thii way tho drawing was passed lor admiration from table to table, until it eventually fell into the hands ot * particularly wealthy woman—a perfect stranger — who promptly ex pressed her desire to retain it.
