They asked that trucks for the conveyance of stock aviing screw couplings should not be ised on trains with slack couplings, that Guards in charge of such trains should be instructed to assist cattle to rise in asces where they are observed to have fallen, and that the floors of cattle trucks should be battened near the doors to prevent stock from slipping when enter- T ing the trucks.
