AN ENJOYABLE EVENING, A very enjoyable dance, in aid of Eurekft football club was hoid at Mr Fletcber'8 rcsidenco, Chiukapook, 0:1 Friday, 17th April, when about 20 couples danced'to excellent music provided by our local musicians. A sumptuous supper, which was pro vided by the ladies and committee, was bauded round by the working fDmmittee and lady friends a little Iter 12. ' Many thanks are due to Mr and the Misses Fletcher's for the use of their room and the ladies who so kindly provided refreshments, and | also those who helped to mako the gathering a success. The minutes of last meeting were read and contirmcd. A discussiou took place in refer ence to the club's colors, with a view to change. Mr Higgius moved, Mr J. W. Clemeuts seconded, that the colors be green guernsey, with gold sash, white knickers and green sox, and this was carried.
