BTThe repoit that Columbus, Ky., had been evacuated by llie rebels is fully ^onfinned by the official despatches forwarded to Washington. Commander Plielpu, who was sent with a flag of truce to the town, returned in Cairo yesterday, with the report that the hegira Had commenced) and that the rebels had fired their quarters, which, wiili a quantity -of army stores, were destroyed.
