On the first day of January, 1871, there was a permanent reduction in the custom duties of 15 cents a pound on tea, 1 cents a pound on sugar, and 2 aenta a pound on coffee, beside a large addition to the free lint of f pices. Seneca County lias 345,153 acres of laud, outeide of villages, valued at $28 68 per acre. The total value of land and buildings, exclusive of vil lages, is $9,909,323.
