Twa Crrv ELcTrro.--General Buchanan's order installing the municipal officers chosen at the recent election, appears in this morn ing's C'scrP.ST. It will be seen that all of the successful candida es are designated in the order as t)bse who are to go into office-no exception is made by name. There is, how ever, a clause in the order which may, tem porarily, exclude some of them. On the theory that these officer can only act as mili tary appointees, or rather under the restric tions of the reconstruction acts, until the new Constitution goes into effect, they are all required to take the test oath.
