Rutherford, will receive the Republican nomination for his old office, without opposition. Chas. E. Palmer, Co. Treasurer, J. C. Gilson, Co. Supt. of Schools, aod George Nusbaumcr, Co. Burveyor, will doubtless meet with no opposition in securing renomination in the Republican Convuns lion. J. F. Smith, President of the Board of Supervisors. 8. I. Marston, our present Public Administrator. L. C. Morehouse, ot San Leandro, R. B Hard, of Oakland, and the present incumbent, Jeremiah Tyrrel, each have an eye out for the Republican nomination for Sheriff.
