Advice has been received from the Department of Agriculture to the ettect that the conditions originally laid down for chick sexing examinations have been varied, and now provide that at least one month's notice must 'be given and that not less -!han eight candidates must cU-t Mipnmives before an examination will be held. A fee of 10/6 will be charged each candidate, who must also defrav the m t cf chickens, which will be supplied under controlled conditions by arrangement with the Department of Agriculture. Three classes of cerMfii.'ate will b? issued by the Department to successful candidates: namely special, first-class and second-class, according to qualifications. Further particulars as to conditions may be obtained from the Under Secre tary, Department of Agriculture, Box 3GA, G.P.O., Sydney.
