Serious Accident. On Tuesday afternoon last a miner iiamed; Lewis Ridley met with a serious accident in the Gibraltar mine, It is said that familiarity breeds con tempt, nnd there is not the -slightest doubt that with miners arid their work, invariably beset with dangers to a greater or less degree, this quotation is applicable, and that due caution is exercised by nine out of every ten of their number.
