Mr. Wilkinson says : ' I shall visit as many centres in the electorate as I can during the campaign, it will be impossible to visit all before the election, but should I again be hon oured with your representation, I will, as hitherto, make it my busi ness to visit those I may now miss, in order to make and ktep myself thoroughly conversant with your wants, requirements, and aspira tions.' The foregoing is sheer im pudence. The Federal Parliament 'separated on October 22, so that Mr. Wilkinson had over seven weeks available for meeting his constitu ents and abundance of time to thoroughly canvass the electorate.
