A bold attempt at horse-stealing and a swift capture by the police of the thieves has just oc curred, Two men named Cqrlrill and Smith, both well-known in Dalby, left here for Roma witha mob -of horses' te&t Tuesday, but the police gfettirig a hint that all was not as1 it should-be, started in pursuit,; and the next day were suc cessful in capturing Smith at Wornbo, with the horsesin Mb'possession.
