Banquet and Presentation to Mr. Geo. J. Tuckett. A VERY LARGE AT TENDANCE PRESENTED WITH A GOLD WATCH AND ALBERT. A . very large and representative gathering of distiiot farmers and townspeople, numbering about 150 met at the Public, hall, Nathalia. The occasion being a banquet and presentation to Mr. Geo. J. Tuckett, who has resigned the secretaryship of the local Agricultural Society, after having held that position for 7 years. The Shire president (Cr. W. A. Camp bell) occupied the chair. On the guest of the evening enter ing the hall, the whole assemblage rose to their feet and sing, "For his a Jolly Good Fellow." The Chairman said they were pre sent that eveniiig to honor Mr. Geo. Tuckett, and lie felt it an honor to have been asked to take the chair at such an important function. He hoped they would all enjoy them selves. The first toast was ''The King, by the chairman.
