THE OTTAWA FREE TRADER. There is a negotiation now pending be tween Mr. Calhoun a Mr. Packenham in relation to the boundary thereof. This negotiation is made the pretence of no in considerable opposition to any movement in the matter. Propositions are pending for the ad mission of Iowa and Honda into the Uni on. Many object to tlio dimensions of Iowa, and think it ough to comprise two States. The territory asked for will make it the largest State in the Union. Florida wishes admission upon such terms thai she can hereafter divido herself and become two States. To this there is considerable, objection. THE OTTAWA FREE TRADER There is a negotiation now pending between Mr. Calhoun a Mr. Fackenham in relation to the boundary thereof. This negotiation is made the pretence of no inconsiderable opposition to any movement in the matter. Fropositions are pending for the admission of Iowa and Florida into the Union. Many -object to tlio dimensions of Iowa, and think it ongli to comprise two States. The territory asked for will malic it tlie largest Stato in the Union. Florida wishes admission upon such terms that she can hereafter divide- herself and become two States. To this there is considerable objection.
