The writer of the article said that women had been dropped for the jury-box for the main reason that a jurors they were utter failure. Mrs. Male says they do not continue to serve for the reason that it was suddenly discov ered that the word "male" had never len stricken from the iualificalionn of jurors. This fact was taken advantage of by cer tain men, who had good reason to dread the action of women as jurors, to exclude them from the jury-box, and this not on account of their incotnjietcncy, but because of their ineligibility.
