Coroner Holt, of Bridgeport, began an inquest at the Selectmen's office here this morning in re g&ri to the Tlctims of the murders in the Johnson family yesterday. Iter. J. G. Jihn son, a Congregational minister, of Rutland, Yt., an uncle of Barclay Johnson, the young man rho shot his mother and sister and then killed himsslf, testified that there w no hereditary Insanity in the family. For the last six weeks the 7onn man his appeared somewhat peculiar. The witness could not account for ictanity on the part cf his nephew, except by his excessive devotion to his office daties which caused him to writs und werk at night and caused a strain on his mind.
