Colored Masons Meet The colored Masons of Kansas will hold their an nual session in Topeka August 24,25 and 26. An attendance of six hun fired delegates is expected. No Grand Jury. At Wellington, con trary to expectation, no petitions for a grand Jury were presented to Judge Swartz. However, it is confidently ex pected that one will be called at the January term of court. Fire At Goddard. Fire started in the E. K. Nevling & Co.'s elevator, which was totally destroyed with about 300 bushels of grain. There were three grain cars on the track, two of which were totally destroyed, one par tially. Revival At Conway. Its convention was held at Chanute. Fair at Hutchinson. About the big gest thing of its kind in Kansas this fall will be the Hutchinson state fair. It will be held September 19-24, Over $20,000 will be paid in cash pre miums. The speed program will be one of the best features, although the display of fine stock and agricultural products will be way above the aver age. Killed by Train.
