SOUXSIANA. T RECENTLY fell to my lot to pana a Sunday a in a small Kan sma town, and as it was a wet day I was forced to re main for the greater part of Sit cooped up in the little otel. The house had no other guest, i se, for the want of other company, I went to the office and entered into : eaersation s ith the landlord, a tall, *an-bronzed leather-featured man past iIddle age, who, -I soon learned, had aspent many years in the west, and who bhad seen some rough, as well as inter est'ng experiences, and who was chuck tall of reminiscences.
