Tuck What a beautiful time to be alive - slow rain and cool temperature, just right to make the bluebonnets and Indian paint brushes begin to peak out. When Kentucky Fried Chicken decides to join a town, you know progress is here. I am happy they have chosen to come to Bastrop. The note was, of course, unsigned, but nevertheless 1 decided to do a bit of investigation What I discovered was that, on his own initiative, Wilhelm had already made a trip to Bob Bullock's office about this matter Yes indeed, he was building a house with materials from the school Buth whole truth of the matter is that that house is a project for the building trades students at Bastrop High School When the vocational trades had solicited bids for a project and none were submitted, Wilhelm agreed to let the students build his house, and he would pay the district the cost of materials plus ...
