No t a few of the farmers in western ZNew York believe that it pays to have cows come in in the fall. The cranberry crop for 18902 is esti pat d. at 7T0.000 barrels. 50,000Q barreh !ess than last year's output. - It is reported that it was demonstrated by tests made last month at the Chicago .tockyards by fepresentatives of the United States bureau of animal industry that lumpy jaw, ip a-mild form at least. eu curable and is not dangerously qoata gious, if at all.
