Pnpe Four A REAL CHRISTMAS GIFT. Lying in the Providence hospital is a young man who had his hand fear fully mangled ia a shingle mill some days ago. It was found necessary by the surgeon to amputate the hand. Just prior to his accident his wife had Suffered a severe illness. Lying on that bed of pain the day before Christ mas, with his moans of livelihood gone, thinking of the ones at home who needed his earning power so badly, it was a dreary Christmas outlook. The Christmas spirit which we hear so much about Seemed indeed a mockery to that" injured man and his family.
