Upon the success of our agriculturist and producer the wealth and pro pori ty of this country depends, and these interests should lie guarded with jealous care by ihe Government. To pay our i.ebts the Government requires revenue, and will for scores of years to come ; and for this purpose every producer is re quired to submit to taxation in some form or other.
