Jeff Robert!), who was formerly a citizen of Versailles, was conducting a refreshment stand on West Newton street during the Horse Show last week, and it seemed to Constable Moreland that he was running a rather hilarious outfit, so set a trap to see if it was a "blind tiger" captur ing the proprietor and a supply of "wet goods." The trial was set for Tuesday, but owning to the absence of Mr. Roberts' attorney, Dan Wray, at Tuscumhia, the trial was postponed until next Monday. In the mean time Jeff is hoarding with Sheriff Will son, in default of bond. Constable Moreland is certainly rounding up the evil-doers, and Hitting it up to the other fellow.
