LOCAL AND LITERARY. FocRTn iw PKiuiTsnmo. Our citizens generally were content to go aliro&d to cele brate the Fourth. The cannon was fired, and other demonstrations were made in commem oration of the day. Borne young ladies and gentlemen had a pleasant pic nic party in the grove west of town. A German military company from Toledo, was here in the eve ning and attended a ball at Seiberts. Dan cing was continued until after sunrise this morning. So we can boast of having had as long a Fourth as any body. Bowl-no Gkbkn. The citizens of this beautiful village and surrounding country celebrated the Fourth in a becoming manner. The young folks had a Sabbath school celebra tion and dinner, which satisfied the appetites of about five hundrad young Americans. Of course the Old Folks were not to be out done, so they got up a dinner, and about one hundred and fifty were at their table. S.Jeffer son, Esq., of this place, was one of the speakers.
