CUMBERLAND PUDDING. Mix together in a baaiu six ounces of breadcrumbs, four »uncea of beef auet, four ounces of sugar, six ounccs of sour apples chopped, a tablcapoon ful of treacle, tbc grated rind of p. lemon, a little mixed spice, and a toaspoonful of baking-powder. Bind together with two eggs bcatou up with half a teacupful of milk. Turn into n greased mould, cover with, a greased paper, and steam in a sauce pan for not less than t^ro hours. Serve with some liquefied apple jeily cis sauce.
