Important to Prospectors. [Newspaper Article] — Zeehan and Dundas Herald — 23 February 1891

Important to Proip 2-ectors. An important advertisement from tbe Mines Department appears elsewhere In this issue, in which the attention of prospectors is called to a near force in Tasmania on and liter the second day of March next, which provides ' that, in addition to the usual manner of marking out ground under application, spr lease in timbered country,' the applicant shall also, ' From his notice tree for a distance of five chains in tbe direction of any one of the cardinal points of the compass cat a dis tinctly denned blazed line, ao as to be clearly risible,' ' Tlie introduction of this new regulation is oae that will commead itself to all bona fide prospectors who have .nothing to gain from the hiding of their application notices, and the extra amount of trouble involved will probably be more than compensated for by the preven tion of complications Anting througb double pegging. ___^_____
