Double ZIst Birthday Celebration For Engaged Couple Miss Shirley Hilliard and her fiance, Mr. Keith Robertson, were guests of honour at a party given by their parents recently, to cele ')rate the couple's joint coming of age. About sixtv guests attended the party, which was held at the home of Shirler's p'rents, Dr and Mrs. E. T. Hilliard, of Parramatta. Dr. Hilliard is medi cal superintendent of Parramatta Mental Hospital. Mr. R. Robertson, Keith's father, was master of ceremonies, :nd music was provided by Mrs. Dubois and her daughter, Mrs. Boyle, on piano and violin. The two birthday cakes-pink for Shirley and blue for Keith •-ere beautifully decorated by Mrs. Freeman, of Westmead. The delicious supper which loaded the tables was prepared by Mesdames E. T. Hilliard and R. Robertson. After the cutting of their cakes, Shirley and Keith were presented with silver keys by their fathers.

HOUSING PROJECT   The N.S.W. Housing Commis- sion proposes to erect a number of homes in Namur, Dixmude and Maubeuge Sts., Granville, Parramatta City Council was told last week. Council has referred to its Building Committee a proposal by the Commission to erect a Swedish prefabricated home with a malthoid roof in the area. Parramatta City Council has decided to construct kerb and guttering in Grand Parade, Clyde, outside Goodyear's Rubber fac- tory. Work is estimated to cost more than £850. The company will be asked to share half construction costs.
