MOUNT IDA DISTRICT PRO- GRESS LEAGUE. Address by Mr Ashton. A meetinig of the above league was held on Saturday last, the attendance being a large and representative one, numdering between   twenty and thirty members. Mr F. B. Dun occupied the chair. A considerable amomnt of correspondence   and routine work was disposed of. Included amount the correapondence was a letter from the Hillston Farmers' Union, asking the co-oporeration of the league in an attempt to obtain the abolition of interest on selectors' unpaid balances and the reduction of instal ments from 1s to 6d per acre. Mr R, Gibson also wrote with reference to block No. 1, parish O'Brien county Sturt, and it was resolved to take steps to have the block pro claimed a camping reserve for the benefit of teamsters and others.
