"BACK TO WOQDSIDE." Continuation of Celebrations. I 'On Tuesday, the fourth day of the celebration, huge crowds again attended. The fete held In the arternoon in the institute proved a great success. The stalls, with their-excellent displays, were eery attractive. The fete was opened at 2.S0 lun. by Mrs. H. p. Matters, who was introduced by the President' <Mr. A. S. Hughes). Mrs. Matter said the "Back to Woodslde" I'fleliratioiis were a great success. It was some years since she left Woodslde, but a great advancement In the town was obvious. GENERAL NEWS. A DANGEROUS MISTAKE. On Friday ot last week, Mr. J. Howland, ot Dawesley, made what nearly proved a fatal mistake. He had. been poisoning rabbits with, car bon bisulphide and bad the poison In a bottle similar to one containing tea. In mistake he drank the poison. He was removed to the Mouut Barker Soldiers' Memorial Hospital where he is progressing favourably.
