William J'.lake Has, who testified against L'uckliart before a justice of the peace, refused to give any testimony in t!ie case, so he was released. . Gentlemen: I was much pleasrd to see, in the Journal, the other clay, an opinion of the Editor that if. there be an ordinance against Hying kites it should 1 e enforced ; if nut, the Council should enact one im mediately.
