scofe BOYtJsCOUTS k \OF AMERICA T TROOP NO. 3 At our last weekly meeting, last ■Edday. 39 scouts and_scouters attended. After the opening ceremony, a lecture was given by Dick Ditmar of Glendale Junior College, on “Radio.” We learned about transmitting and the difference between short and long waves. At the end of his talk Mr. Ditmar gave the scouts a chance to ask questions and many of them were asked. Herbert Potter urged the troop to get busy and win an “A” banner at the next Court of Honor. Last Sunday, Troop 3 attended the Episcopal church in a body. The troop met in front of Central Grammer school and marched to the church. HEALTH CENTER EAGLE ROCK By Dr. D. J. Oihon CHIROPRACTOR 2270 Colorado Blvd. CL 62526 [Newspaper Article] — Eagle Rock Advertiser — 16 February 1933

HEALTH CENTER EAGLE ROCK By Dr. D. J. Oihon CHIROPRACTOR 2270 Colorado Blvd. CL 62526 SHINGLES (Herpes Zoster) QUESTION—I have recently had a severe attack of shingles, and no treatment seems to relieve my condition. What treatment would you recommend for my trouble? ANSWER—We find that the pain accompanying shingles is best relieved by applications of high-fre-quency current, using the unipolar diathermy. Actinic rays, sine- wave and positive galvanism are also very effective. A toxic condition of the system usually accompanies an outbreak of shingles, and it is necessary to remedy this condition also before permanent relief can be expected. NOTE—Dr. Olson will gladly answer any health question. Send a stamped, addressed envelope. In some cases he will answer through | this column. Watch it weekly.
