GUNDOWRING - Last week further splendid rains | fell, bringing the total for January to 712 points, and from December 20, : when the weather broke, to 1048. points. All grasses are mSking won derful growth;- the clovers, which started so well, and could easily have beon burnt off, are now good feed lengtli. The native grasses, rye grass and paspalum, are like spring. For tunately these later rains have not been accompanied by heavy wind, which did so .much damage during the former storms. The only year over a considerable' period -to come any way near this splendid fall was in Decem ber, 1933, when 560 points wero re corded and January, 1934, 337 .points.
