Commercial. BAIRNSDALE LIVE STOCK MARKET. Monday, May 22. Messrs. A. MACARTHUR and Co. report: We bad a slack day in our yards on Satur. day last, nearly all forward being reserved local lots. Wn had some fine cattle yarded, which sold readily, and at first-rate prices. We sold a lot of fat cows at £4 lls 3d, and and several odd lots at about same figure. Store Stock.-There were none inl. Milch cows, with young calves, sold very readily up to £5, and at present we could sell a large number at fair figures. Horses.--We yarded about 35 bead, and sold all but about seven head at reserves. A good.mob or two would now realise fair figuies. Pigs.-There were a few lots in, all of which we sold. Some private sales have lately been effected, and several Melbourne buyers are on the look out for supplies.
