FROM Buenos Ayres (says the Time*) we have the intelligence of a battle which was fought on the 17th of Sep- tember between the forces under General Urquiza aud the Buenos Ayreau troops commanded by General Mitre, which re- sulted in a decisive victory for the Re- publican Constitutional party, Urquiza and his followers lieing completely r-uted. NEW SOUTH WALES. CRICKET MATCH. AV England Eleven v. Twenty two of New South Wales. THIS great cricket match between the I New South Wales Twenty-two and the Eleven of All England commenced on Wednesday, the 29th ult. There were upwards of 20,000 persons présent. The English players went in first, aud scored, before the wickets were drawn, 143, with with only four out. When the game , commenced on Thursday, however, the remainder were rapidly caught ont, with ne material addition to the previous, day's score-the total . f the first tanings, ¡ was 175. The New Bondi Wales players then commenced their first innings, and scored 127. The AU England Eleven scored in their second innings 66.
