'The chair was occupied by Mr Lade, iresident of the society, and there were about 40 farmers present. Yarok batted first, and totalled' 13 suns for the loss of 5 wickets. when they declared their innings cluosed. The Wander ers went to the wickets. hut made no stand, nlosing i wickets tor 33 runs, when they sud denly left the field owing to rain, although the umpires considered the ground was fit to play on.
