Shipments 225 cat tle. The cattle supply was very light and was composed mostly of common grades of butchers' cows and heiiers which were sold to one of the local slaughterers. There is really no im provement in the market, which rules very dull. Kansas City closed steady to strong. There were 19,000 hogs on Kansas City market which caused a de cline of 10 to 15 cents; Bulk of sales here at $3.37 1-2 to $3.40. The close was steady at the decline. WICHITA LIVE STOCK MARKET. Shipments, 24 cattle, 561 hogs. There was a light supply of cattle today, but proved too many to meet the demand, as only about a doz en head changed hands and the balance were shipped out. The market could not be worse, either as to demand or prices. There seems to be a more steady feeling on the Kansas City mar ket today. The supply of hogs was the lightest for a long time.
