The facts given in the report of tht commissioner of pensions for tho lust fiscal year would seem to be sullicii nt to silence all complaint that the gov ernment Las not been liberal toward the soldiers of tho rebellion. It ha shown that still, more than U-enty years after the close of,the war, the pension roll is increasing and tho amount paid in pensions is groater year by year.
