The latest sensation at the Hants Rosa Mining District Is caused by * tbe establishment of the fact that there exists a large and valuable deposit of tin ore near the town of Silverado. Tbe first discovery was made about two mouths ago, and was followed by a general stampede In search of tin. Several claims - were located, but Ihe excitement soon subsided as the difficulty in fa testing tbe ore failed to (ix tbe character and value of the metal with eertaioty. Meanwhile, inter ested parties have procured a chem ical analysis of tbe rosk, aud several tests have been made by different assayers, giving as the re sult over thirty per cent, of tin, or a value of about one handred and sixty dollars per ton.
