The rate of Exchange on Tork advanced yesterday to IX premium selling; but the Prlce ' Baltimore and Phil adelphia flinda remained unaltered from Mondaj's figure. Gold went np with Ex change, and although some dealers quoted it nt It was difficult to boy it bet ter than 2 premium, and there was little de she to disjiose of it even at that rate. In other department of finance there was no paiticular change. Money is still rery loe, though none of the Bankers com plained of any particular pressure. The difficulty of obtaining discounts continues, and the Paper done from day to day in Third-street is trifling in amount. In out side circles there are few lenders, even the high figures nt which they can buy good Paper seeming to offer little inducement. New Orleans Funds were still in request yesterday, but as hardly any one was draw ing, there was a ready demand for Bank notes at M premium. . UncurreLt ...
