On motion, Mr. Wm. il. Eggborn was vailed to the chair temporarily and was finally made permanent chairman of the convention, and Mr. J. I. Wiggin »a: chosen secretary. The business of the convention having lieen slated by the chairman to be for the purpose of selecting one delegate and ono alternate to represent the county in the convention which is to meet in Richmond on the 27th inst., it was resolved to go into the nominations for that purpose; whereupon Mr. W.
