Riverina Stations. Some well-known stations in Riv erlna have repently changed hands, the most noteworthy of them being Coree, Cootiong, and Deniliquin Stud Park. Cotee was acquired some months ago by Mr Satnuaf Mo Caughey, son of the late Mr David McCaughey, and Ooonong more re cently by his brother, Mr. Roy Mc Caughey. Deniliquin Stud Park was oil the first of the month made over to Mr'Thomas Millear, jun., by his father. The new owner is still away In Europe. During the 18 mouths that he was in France lie served as gunner in the i^rtillery, and had the good fortune to escape any uiore severe misfortune than that of getting one slight attack of gas. Shjce the war he has decided to equip himself with some kiiow: ledge qf wool for his future career as a pastoriilist, and fqr that pur- . pose hii!j entered the euiployrflput pf Messrs I,aycuek ;pul Cp. at their Bradford wool mills, signing on for six months. OBITUARY. The Grim Reaper has been busy in our midst of late, aud last Tues day claimed a victim in Mr John Beasley, twin brother of Mr Fred Beasley, proprietor of the Farmers' Arms hotel, death being due to pneumonia following an illness of about 10 days. It was only a few' days previous that a brother, Mr 1£. Beasley, succumbed to the same complaint, and under the circum stances very deep sympathy is felt for the relatives in their double affliction. Deceased was 58 years of age, single, and had been a resi dent of the district for upwards of 16 years, and he was highly re spected by a large circle of acquaint ances The interment took place in the local cemetery the following day, the burial service being con ducted by Mr Slevens (Presby terian) in the presence of a large number of sympathisers.
