Ia the new shaft, at a depth of about 93ft., a splendid seam of very high grade oopper and silver ore hiiQ beon out, making down strongly in the loilo foundation. Hithorto the prinoipal ore contents of this huge lodo ran in small veins, but at tho bottom the rich seam shows 2ft. wide, carrying vory rioh chlorido and iodide of silvor, a little nativo silver, bluo and groon carbonate groy ore, and red oxido of ooppor ; oarbonato of load ia also strongly inovidenoe. How Some Aborigines Live. AN INTERESTING REPORT. About three weeks ago a letter was re ceived by the Aborigines' Board from Mr. J. G. Carroll, M.L.A., reoommending that the aborigines drawing rations in the Lach lan electorate should also roceive moat. The Board accordingly prooured reports from tho polioo in the Euabalong, Hillston, Booligal, Mosagiel, and Ivanhoe diatriots whioh were read yesterday, and wore considored by tho board as of highly interesting oharacler. Tho polico at Euabalong reported that game of every kind was scarce there, and fish greatly diminished in tho river.
