The Emu Bay Times Published Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1897. Weddind at Wynyard--From our     correspondent we learn that a prettly little wedding took place at Wynyard on Wednes- day. The contracting parties were Mr F, Blackwell, eldest son of Mr E. O, Blackwell proprietor of the Wynyard Flour Mills, and Miss Maud Ethel Rubock, second youngest daughter of Mr A, Rubock, of Wynyard. The ceremony took place at the residence of the brides parents, being performed by the   Rev. W, H. Walton, of Burnie. The brides- maids wore Miss F. Rubock and Miss Tilly Blackwell, Mr F, Rubock best man, the bride's father giving her away. The bride was charmingly attired and the bridesmaids also looked very winsome. A British subject named Creaves, employed in the Persian Telegraph Service, has been captured and murdered in diabolical fashion by a gang of Persian brigands. The mis- creants pinned their victim to a bed with their wenpona, disembowelled him, and then cut off his head. The cause for this terrible crime has not yet been explained.
