VPARISH NEWS. ; -Pointe-a-la-Hache. Members of the New Orleans Board of Trade made a tour of Pldqaemines and St. Bernard Parishes last Sunday traveling on a special train on the Louisiana Southern Railroad. The party reached Pointe a la Hache at 12:30 and proceeded to the Mevers Hotel where dinner was served. Messrs. G. Favret and Son have re ceived and have on display their usual elaborate line of Christmas Goods. Dolls and Toys of every description and a full line of Candies, Fruits, Cakes and Nuts, in fact all the Right Goods at the Right Prices. Don't fail to give them a call. Parish Health Officer,'Dr. Chas. Y. Seagle, was here the first of the week. The Democratic Executive Committee will meet today, Saturday.
