MUNICIPAL AMALGAMATIONS Liverpool Meeting A meeting of representatives of all -hires and Municipalities interested in fhe proposed amalgamation into num- ber 8 City area was held in the Liver- pool Town Hall on Friday night last. Municipalities of Liverpool Cabra-Valc /airlield. Bankstown and Ingleburn and the Shne oi Nepean attended. Liver- pool aldeimcn present were the Mayor i Aid. B. C. Fitzpatrick). Aid. T Fitzpatrick, Aid. h Smith Aid S Stenner, Aid. Potter and Aid. Childs The meeting carried a motion moved by the Mayor of Fairfield 'Aid. Clancy) hat it was unfavorable to any of the 'hiee suggested schemes of amalgama- tion. It was further agreed that two rep- resentatives from each of the Local Government bodies directly concerned should discuss and inquire into the pro- posed amalgamations and report back to a further meeting. _?
