Sea Wall CONTRACT FOR EXTENSION Arising out of the recent tenders for the construction of a sea wall arid noad work in No. 3 Ward, a letter from Engineer W. J. Rheinhdld was before Tuesday's meeting of the Council, recommending the tender of A. Lind and Son, at £16,137. As the tender exceeded the loan by ever £6000 be made furthtfc- recommenda tions in negard to the work to be done. Mil Rheinhold, who was present in person at the meeting, Eifegesied that the construction of the seawall be pioceoded with, commencing from the Eouhefrr. end and wonting until the money became exhausted, and that th? road work be dropped.
