News Roundup From the Statei Nation & Worl Congress May'Float Meetings By TIM SHAFFER The possibility of "floating" one Undergraduate Student Government meeting per term was the main topic of discussion at an informal meeting last night attended by three of the USG Congressmen presently on campus. The idea involves conducting the regular USG Congress meeting in some large room in each of the various residence areas. Students from the area would then have a good opportunity to see a USG meeting in operation. USG Vice President Ronald Faucher, who presided at the meeting, suggested that at some point in the floating meeting there be a period during which students from the gallery would be allowed to ask questions and make comments. Arouse Interest The group unanimously agreed that although all USG Congress meetings are open to the public, this would be an effective way to arouse student interest.
