Brick Pomeroy's Reply to the Cincinnati Commercial. We did iliank God for calling Lincoln home. If Lincoln is in heaven, as Abohiocists say, lie is better off than at Washington, beset by thieves, Abolitionists, army contractors, office seekers and gaping listners to his emntty jokes. As a friend of Lincoln we thank God for calling so peat and good a man home be fore he should become disfju9ted with the Annas, the James, the Tlmddneses, the Ban jamios the Charleses, the Freds and other of the leaders of the God and Morality party. We thank Gad for calling Lincoln into the presence and company of Democrats, as he is in heaven. The poor President suffered enough from being with Abolitionists on earth, and we thank God for calling him be yound their reach or influence here or here after. What is, in right. God, who rules U9 all, wanted Lincoln removed Ha made Booth his agent ; no one but God 's never to blame; we, who ore Christians, should thank Him lor everything; we do so thank Him;...

Lost Beyond Redemption. The Springfield Democrat in giving the par ticulars of the finding of a half-crazed man, who wandered from his home in that city, concludes as follows : In about four months there will be another alarm of a similar nature, not confined to Springfield however, but will be universal throughout the States of Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania, on which occasion the present Republican party will be lost, not to be found so readily as was this man, but lost beyond redemption. .
